Question 1

Where can I find property auctions in Cyprus?

Accepted Answer

Official Cyprus property auctions are published on the eAuction platform (eauction-cy.com). Cyprus Auction Tracker collects every upcoming listing, adds a map location, DLS valuations and an opportunity score, and sends alerts for new auctions that match your filters.

Question 2

How do property auctions work in Cyprus?

Accepted Answer

Banks and creditors list mortgaged properties with a reserve (starting) price and an auction date. Registered bidders bid online through the eAuction system. If a property is not sold, it is often relisted later at a lower reserve price.

Question 3

Can I buy bank repossessed property in Cyprus below market value?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Many auctioned properties start below their Department of Lands and Surveys (DLS) general valuation. Cyprus Auction Tracker flags listings whose starting price is at least 35% below the 2021 DLS valuation as opportunities.

Question 4

Which areas of Cyprus have property auctions?

Accepted Answer

Auctions are held across Limassol, Nicosia, Larnaca, Paphos and the free Famagusta area, covering apartments, houses, plots, fields and shops.

Question 5

Can I get notified about new Cyprus auctions?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Subscribers can create email alerts by price range, property type, village, ownership share or a drawn map area, and are notified as soon as a matching auction is published.
